Former OHL Champion Brings Wealth of Experience to the Team

Ottawa, ON (February 10, 2023)

The University of Ottawa men's hockey team is delighted to announce the appointment of Justin Stevens as Associate Head Coach. Stevens brings a wealth of experience to the Gee-Gees, having enjoyed a successful playing career in both the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and professionally in Europe.

Originally from Brantford, Ontario, Stevens played for the Barrie Colts and Ottawa 67's in the OHL, where he was part of the Colts' championship-winning team in 2010. After his junior career, he played professionally in the Alps Hockey League in Austria and the Elite Ice Hockey League in the United Kingdom.

"I am thrilled to be joining the Gee-Gees men's hockey program," said Stevens. "I was immediately impressed by the team's commitment to excellence on and off the ice, and I am excited to work with the players and staff to help the team achieve its goals."
