Explore Hard-to-Reach Places
What are burrow holes?
Burrow holes are small pathways found in Baldur's Gate 3 that only Tiny creatures can enter. They act as shortcuts or provide access to areas not reachable by larger characters.
How to enter burrow holes
Despite being marked as exclusive to Tiny creatures, there are four methods to enter burrow holes and crevices in Baldur's Gate 3:
- Reduce Person spell: Cast the Reduce Person spell on a medium or large character to shrink them down to Tiny size.
- Magic Items: Certain magic items like the Ring of Tiny Transformation or Diminution Stone can temporarily shrink characters.
- Polymorph spell: Use the Polymorph spell to transform a character into a Tiny creature, such as a giant rat or a mouse.
- Bugbear racial feature: Bugbears have a racial feature called "Surprise Attack" that allows them to squeeze through small spaces, including burrow holes.
Benefits of entering burrow holes
Venturing into burrow holes can lead to valuable discoveries such as hidden treasures, secret paths, or alternative routes to objectives. They also allow players to explore otherwise unreachable areas, offering a unique perspective on the game world.
